BTEUP – The Board of Technical Education came into being in May 1958 in UP. In 1960, the first exam took place for courses ranging from diploma to draftsmen. Utter Pradesh government gave statutory status to the University in the year 1962. It came under the “U.P. Pravidhic Shiksha Adhiniyam – 1962”. The Institution has over 250000 students studying in various courses. There are more than eighty colleges recognized by it.
For your information, the University has a Chairman apart from other officials. The State government nominates forty members to the Technical Board. The Secretary is the ex-officio member of the Board. Moreover, the duties include advising the government on matters of state Technical Education and Training. BTEUP Result 2020
You can obtain the results for the first, second, and third (final) year results from the University website. If you have appeared in this year’s latest exam then also you can download your bteup result from the website. You can visit either the Board website or your particular college website.

The Board of Technical Education Uttar Pradesh conducts semester examinations every year of the Polytechnic course. There is also a piece of good news for those of you who have a doubt regarding their exam evaluation. You can apply for the answer booklet from the Board and see your marks. For this to happen you will need to apply through an application. You can visit the website to find the form and submit it to see the comparison of marks.
All of the branches upload the results on the Board’s website. You will be able to see the bteup results as and when they are available. Besides this, there is a disclaimer that the error in results is not the responsibility of the Board. You may take up any disputes regarding the results with the relevant college officials.
You need to have your roll number with you when you open up the portal. The helpline number is 9198092047 if you face any problem. You should also take into consideration that the results are not final. This is only for your convenience. The respective colleges release the final word on the results. You will at the end need to contact your college for the results.
BTEUP Date Sheet | Time Table
From this year onwards, the Board has introduced an Odd-Even system of Semester. So, if you are giving exams from 2016 onwards you will follow the odd-even system of exams. Although there is a sudden change in the exam process. You still do not have to worry because the officials have made the transition easy. The notification of the change in the exam process is on the Boards website. 14-09-2016(Wednesday) is the notification date.
If you are appearing in the 2017 exams then the timetable for it is on the website. You can find the exam schedule details for the first, second, and final year exams for April/May 2017. Again, the practical exams will take place before the theory exams. So, if you have practicals then they will take place in the month of March.
The practical exams will be from 10th March until 31st of March 2017. And the theory part of the examinations will be from 06 April until 30th April. The Schedule of the exams is applicable for all the colleges under the State Board. You can download the detailed information from the Board’s website. Remember to have your roll number ready with you.
You should also take note that since the semester system is in place. Students will need to fulfill certain criteria for the eligibility to sit for final exams. You should be clear in all of your semester exams. If you have any pending exams or even practicals then please do complete them in time.
The University also provides you with a chance of clearing your backlog exams. You can visit the website from time to time to keep yourself updated. The supplementary exams take place along with the semester exams. You would need focus more as your backlog exams are along with your semester exams.
The college authority supports the students in their endeavour. So, you should not hesitate to contact the college departments. Your department heads are responsible for your course time in the college. You can keep them in the loop about your troubles. BTEUP Exam Fees
The fees for admissions and examinations is divided into three Categories. There is a substantial difference in fee when we take into account the setup of the college. You may see that fee for colleges under the direct control of the U.P. government is far less than the private ones. Let us explore them further.
The first in the category are the Government Polytechnics Institutes. Here you will find the tuition fee is INR 8000 per year. You will also end up paying an additional fee of INR 4670 as the Student Fund fee. When you total the amount of fee, it stands around INR 12670. These fees are inclusive of your exam and hostel fees.
The second in the category are the Government Aid Polytechnics Institutes. You will end up paying a higher amount of fee here. The tuition fee is INR 14430 per year and the student Fund fee is INR 3070 per year. So, the total fee stands out to be INR 17500 per year. Your fees include the hostel and the examination fees.
The last category is Private Institutes. Here your fees for a three-year course will stand around INR 28000 per year. And, for a short period course, your fee will be INR 20000 per year. This fee structure includes your exam fee. Although, they do not include your hostel or security fees. The Board decides the exam fee for all categories of colleges. The private colleges have the authority to decide on the hostel fees.
