CTET Qualification
The following aspirants are eligible to appear for the CTET for Class 1-5 teaching positions.
Aspirants who are senior secondary or equivalent with at least 50% marks. Moreover, all those who have a 2-year diploma in elementary education.
Aspirants who have 45% in senior secondary plus are appearing in the final year of 2- year elementary education diploma. This is applicable for those who fall under the NCTE, regulations of 2002.
Aspirants with senior secondary education with 50% marks and appearing in the final year of 4-year B.Ed. or passed.
Moreover, the aspirants who have 50% marks plus passed or appearing in the final year of 2 – year diploma. In education in the special education program are also eligible.
Aspirants who are graduates are also eligible. However, they need to pass or are appearing in the final year of two-year diploma in elementary education.
