SOL Result Updates : School of Open Learning began its work in the year 1962. It comes under the University of Delhi. It has over the years known as the pioneering distance education provider. Moreover, starting with just under a thousand students. It has now over two lakh students. Who study under various different departments.
The current director of the School of Open learning is Prof. C.S. Dubey. Moreover, the joint registrar is Mr Chander Prakash Raghave.
There are currently two campuses of School of Open Learning. One is the main campus in North Delhi moreover, the second campus is in South Delhi region.
DU SOL Result 2020 BA BCOM 1st 2nd 3rd Year Final Sem Result
As per the Delhi University regulations the rechecking is available three weeks after the result declarations. The office of the School of Open Learning makes it sure. To provide the mark sheet at the shortest time possible.
The result declaration is final and there will be no change in it. If there is any dispute regarding the sol result. Then the students can reach the office for a quick resolution. However, after due consideration, the final decision of the school will get the sanction. Moreover, there can be no further appeals.
To access the results on the school of Open Learning website. Please follow the below-mentioned steps in the exact order.
- First, visit the website of School of Open Learning. Then select the Students option from the main menu tab.
- Further, scroll down to select examinations option. Then select the results option from the list.
- Further, you can select the course and year to search for your SOL result.
To see the DU SOL results, the user, need to know his or her roll number. Moreover, once the results are up in downloadable format. The user can access it offline too. The user can save the documents in PDF format and open it on his or her device.
DU SOL Admit Card
The School of Open Learning uploads the admit cards on the website around one week prior to the exams. The students can access the admit cards as soon as they are up on the website.
The school of Open Learning sends the admit cards to the candidate’s address. If for some reason the exam taker does not receive the admit card on time. They can contact the college assistant registrar for any change in address. The address to reach is School of Open Learning, 5 Cavalry Lane New Delhi 110007.
The important thing to remember is that the receipt of DU SOL admit card is the responsibility of the candidate. Failing which the consequences will be solely on the shoulders of the candidate.
Moreover, the students can download the admit card and take the print out. This is also a valid admit card in case the same is not reached through the post.
While accessing the admit card through website remember certain things. First, select the campus of your choice. Second input your School of Open Learning roll number. Third input your date of birth correctly. Remember to put in these details correctly otherwise, the user will get an error. At last, put in your name as is on the School of Open Learning student identity card.
To be able to view the admit card. The user needs to have adobe pdf viewer. Moreover, it is downloadable for free from the Adobe website.
DU SOL Date Sheet
The SOL date sheet for the exams is available on the website, around a month before the exams. Moreover, it is the duty of the students to check and verify from time to time. As to whether the SOL date sheet is present or not.
The exams are due after every academic year. The exams are as part 1, part 2 and part 3. The parts are the year of course duration. If the student is in the first year, then it is part 1.
The exams for the honors courses start at the first week of May. The exams for the other courses start at the second week of May.
The eligible students receive exam forms through posts. The responsibility is with the student to fill the form in proper format and submit it. The office of School of Open Learning receives these final forms for exam preparations.
If by any means the student is not able to receive the form. Then he or she must contact the School of Open learning office. The local students have the option to visit the office personally. Moreover, the outstation students can send in the request of non-receipt of exam form telephonically. The students need to remember to provide the School roll number and course details as well.
The part 2 and part 3 exam forms submission duly filled-in and completed. The exam fee is payable through cash or demand draft. The time span to submit the exam fee is within the month of the final examinations.
The students who are studying for part 1 and part 2 exams are not eligible for supplementary exams. This rule applies to BA pass, B. Com pass, BA Hons and B. Com Hons.
If any student wants to reappear in failed exams, then he or she needs to fill up the form. The form for reappearing must come in by 15th October of each year. When the fee is in with the school and the candidature is fix for the student. The details of the students come under the scrutiny until the conformation. Then the student receives the registration form by that time.
SOL DU Admission Form and DU Online Form
The admission is possible through online and as well as offline mode. If you want to secure the admission. Then please carry proper documentation with you at the time of admissions.
- Recent Passport size photocopy
- Xerox Copies of 10th and 12th Mark sheet and Certificates
- Reservation certificate if you are applying for.
- Latest Income Certificate and Ration Card Xerox Copies
For online admissions. The scanned copies of necessary documents like address proof and date of birth proof must contain all details. Also, remember to carry the recent photograph and signatures too.
The admission to postgraduate programs at the School of Open Learning is open in the month of August until September. The admission information is advertised through many leading daily nationals. All the details regarding the prospectus and fee is available through the advertisement.
The students need to attach the DU online form properly filled in with the required documents. Then submit it with the School of Open Learning.
For further clarification regarding the admission queries the students can visit the website or contact the office. The concerned department will adhere to the request posted by the student. Though it is advisable to go through the prospectus as all the information is present in it.
The students can get the prospectus from the main centre in North Delhi campus or form the South Delhi campus. The south Delhi campus is at South Moti Bagh, New Delhi.
