Osmania Result: Osmania University is a public university located in Hyderabad state. It spreads over a vast expanse of 1600 acres. It is the 7th oldest university in India. Named after Nawab Osman Ali Khan who was the founder of Osmania University. He was the last Nizam of Hyderabad. This university came into existence in the year 1918.

Osmania University has over 300,000 students in its campus. As of 2012, it served more than 3700 international students from 80 nations of the world. Sh. E. S. L. Narasimhan is the Chancellor of Osmania University. Professor S. Ramachandram is the Vice-Chancellor. Osmania University is famous for its excellent faculty in various departments. It offers courses in Engineering, technology, science, arts, commerce, Law and Management studies.

Osmania University has accreditation from UGC, NAAC and AIU. In 2001, NAAC accredited it with a 5-star rating. Later, it revised the rating to highest grade ‘A’ in the year 2008. UGC recognized two of Osmania University’s affiliated colleges as ‘College with potential for excellence’. Some of the OU’s famous alumni are P. V. Narasimha Rao, Shivraj Patil and many others.

Osmania University has a staff of over 5000. The University colleges are on the main campus itself. The government funds and manages this non-profit university.

Osmania Exam Time Table Details:

Candidates have to qualify EAMCET to take admissions in UG engineering courses. It is a state level common entrance exam. University considers GATE score for admission in post-graduate engineering courses. It conducts OUCET for admissions in PG, PG-diploma & 5-year integrated courses. This year it conducted OUCET from 6th June 2016 onwards. Information about exam schedule, hall tickets, results, counselling dates is available on official portal. Osmania University uses semester/ yearly pattern to conduct exams. It conducts engineering exams twice a year. Odd semester exams start in November/December. Even semester exams start in April/May. Main and backlog exams start at the same time. It conducts yearly exams for all the other UG courses like BA, B.Sc. and B.Com. Practical exams begin in March, followed by main exams in April.

Students can download their admit cards from the main site. They have to enter their enrollment number to get their hall tickets. Last year supplementary and improvement exams commenced in September 2015 for Degree courses (Bachelor of Arts, Science and Commerce). Osmania Result Declaration

Osmania University declares the result of their entrance exam OUCET in June. This year the entrance exam result was out on 24th June 2016. The candidates can view their result by visiting this link www.oucet.ouadmissions.com. They need to give some basic details to get the result.

Osmania University publishes the results of various courses on its official site. Students can view their results by visiting the main site. They have to enter their enrollment number. Osmania generally release the results within 45-60 days after the completion of written exams. It releases the results from February onwards for the odd semester engineering exams. Even semester exam results are out by July onwards for various courses. Last year, engineering result was out on 5th August 2015.

Osmania Results for the yearly Bachelor of Arts, Commerce and Science exams held in April are out by June. This year Osmania University declared the results on 1st June 2016. Candidates can apply for revaluation and recounting soon after the result is out. Last year, recounting/ revaluation result was out on 4th August 2015. Osmania University declares the result of supply exams of these degree courses in December. Last year the result was out on 15th December 2015.
