TNAU – Tamil Nadu Agriculture University. It had its genesis from the establishment of an agricultural school in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. it early as 1868 which was later relocated to Coimbatore during 1906.
In 1920 it had been affiliated with Madras University. TNAU assumed full responsibilities of Education and Research in Agriculture. It supported the State Agricultural Department by delivering research products. In 1958, it was recognized as a PG center and began to offer masters and doctoral degrees. TNAU invites applications from eligible persons to apply for various posts on a temporary basis.
