YCMOU Results Maharashtra government founded Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University in July 1989 .It is also called as YCMOU. It is the fifth open university of India. Also, it adopted its name from the name of Yashwantrao Chavan. He was a great political leader. And, he was a builder of modern Maharashtra.

In 1989, it became an affiliating member of UGC. It has good links with well-known bodies like AAOU, CLC and other such bodies. Asian Association of Open University is called as AAOU. And, CLC is a short form of Commonwealth learning Centre of Canada.
The main goal of the foundation YCMOU was to give excellent and free education. YCMOU has its learning centres spread across Maharashtra and other states. It has its main branch in Nasik, Maharashtra.
YCMOU offers admissions in courses like diplomas, graduate and much more. It has 4,300 staff members and about 6, 50,000 students. Its goal was to become a Mass university. YCMOU performs many programs to spread education to meet its aim. It offers free education to all the restricted part of societies like the prisoner. YCMOU also provides free eBooks to their students.
It takes admission in the month of June. It accepts admission applications through online process. Students must check the qualifying conditions before applying. All the admission details are easy to get from the brochure. For applying online, they have to enroll at http://ycmouoa.digitaluniversity.ac/login. They have to log in using their PRN number.
It carries out entrance tests for admissions to post-graduate courses. Students have to score the least marks required in their tests. Also, they have to score the least percentage required in their bachelor’s courses.
It offers lateral entry in hospitality and tourism courses. Students get admissions in the second or third year of their courses. But, admission through lateral entry requires satisfying the qualification norms.
YCMOU Exam Time Table Download
Students have to give exam twice a year i.e.in odd and even semester. Students have to give their first exam in the month of November. They need to give end semester exams in April or may month. For all courses, even and odd semester exams occur during the same time duration. All the exam related details are available on the official web portal of YCMOU.
Students who fail to get least marks need to reappear in exams. Also, they have to fulfil the least attendance norms. They have to give their supplementary exams along with regular exams. But, they need to register for their exams. The entire exam details are available on the website.
Exam forms are available for students two months before exams. And, they should not forget to carry their hall ticket in examination halls. Hall tickets are available on the website. But, they need to fill in their PRN number to download their hall tickets. But for fresher, dummy admit card is available on the website.
Last time, YCMOU organised odd semester exams in the month of November. On the other hand, it organised even semester at the end of April month. Re-exams for the subjects began along with the regular exams.

Students can expect their odd semester results in September or October month. On the other hand, even semester results are available to check till July. Supplementary exams results are available at the same time.

The board announced odd semester exams results in September 2016. Last time, on 8 July 2016 even semester exams results were available to check.
